President & Founder
Patricia S. Norton is the president and founder of On Course Strategies. She is a pioneering figure in golf journalism and public relations, with a distinguished career spanning more than three decades.
Prior to founding On Course Strategies, Pat was a respected golf writer and editor. She served as Associate Editor and Equipment Editor for GOLF Magazine and later as Managing Editor of GOLF Illustrated. Her journalistic background provides invaluable insight into what media outlets seek and how to effectively communicate with golf audiences.
In 2007, Pat made history by becoming the first woman president of the Metropolitan Golf Writers Association (MGWA), one of the most prestigious golf writing organizations in the United States. This groundbreaking achievement reflects her leadership in the golf industry and the respect she has earned among her peers.
Throughout her career, Pat has worked with some of the most prestigious names in golf, including major championship venues, renowned golf course architects, PGA Tour events, and leading golf brands. Her expertise encompasses all aspects of golf public relations and marketing, from strategic planning and media relations to crisis communications and event management.
